From Roanoke Airport

As you leave the airport, turn right and keep following the signs to 581 and I-81. You will travel on 581 going towards I-81. Stay in the left lane and take the left exit to Bristol.
This will merge you into I-81 South.

FROM INTERSTATE 81 (traveling South):

Going South on I-81, take Exit 118-B to Blacksburg/Virginia Tech (This is 460 Bypass)

Note: This exit can be somewhat confusing. There is ONE exit at 118 with
A, B, C, within.

 

You will be traveling West towards Blacksburg or (Bluefield, WV) on 460

You should see clear signs for Virginia Tech

It is approximately 7-8 miles from I-81 to the light at Southgate Drive, which brings you into the campus.

Take a right at the light on Southgate Drive.

Take the first left onto Duck Pond Drive. (On the bank you will see a “VT” cut out of shrubs right where you will turn)

At the top of the rise, take a right onto Washington Street

VBI is on the corner of Duck Pond Drive and Washington Street

Turn immediately left, and left again, into our parking lot.

When you enter the building, the elevator will be to your left – take it to the second floor.

As you step out of the elevator, you will see the reception area to your left.

Please remember to ask for a visitor parking tag for your car.
